Moonlight on the Eiffel Tower

Parisian dreamscape
‘We would like to give the impression the music was created for the story like in a silent movie, with a very strong and poetic atmosphere, in a 1920s mood, where each note is highlighted by the stroke of the pen – a choreography of drawings and a piano’
Grégoire Pont
‘Moonlight on the Eiffel Tower’ is a poetic ode to Paris - a city of dreams, lights, and evocative images – revealing the hidden magic woven into everyday life. Drawing inspiration from the golden age of silent cinema, Grégoire Pont fuses his signature live animation techniques with a recital of Debussy’s iconic piano works. With his distinctive blend of insight and charm, Pont invites audiences into a realm of wonder, where imagination and reality gracefully intertwine.
Synopsis
As a young man is sat on the rooftop of a building whilst the city of Paris sleeps, he gazes at the stars and the moon up in the night sky. From his perch above the city, the magic of the night unfolds with fantastical companions emerging in a playground of dreams, each bringing joy and wonder to the moonlit gathering above the Parisian skyline.
A young woman with angel wings appears and captivates him. Hand in tow, they soar into the Parisian sky with laughter and awe, gliding past monuments, gargoyles, treetops, and finally, the Eiffel Tower.
But as dawn approaches, the enchantment fades, and the young man returns to his home. By day, life resumes in quiet repetition. Yet each night, the moonlit rooftop calls again, and the dream world reawakens…
