William Lacey nominated for Golden Mask award
For the third time in his career, William Lacey has been nominated for a Golden Mask award for Best Conductor in the opera category. This is for his work on the Bolshoi’s production of Billy Budd, which received a total of eight nominations. Lacey also conducted the Stanislavsky’s production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, which won the Golden Mask for Best Opera in 2013.
