Maestro Arts welcomes Vladimir Fanshil
We are delighted to announce the signing of conductor Vladimir Fanshil for general management. Fanshil's compelling artistry stands on foundations securely built upon studies at the St Petersburg Conservatory and the experience of a four-year term as assistant to Iván Fischer in Budapest and Berlin.
This week Fanshil will make his debut with the Mariinsky Orchestra at the White Nights Festival conducting a programme of Saint-Saëns, Delius and Poulenc.
Recent successes include performances at the Bashmet Festival in Khavarovsk, Odessa Philharmonic and National Academic Opera, and a critically acclaimed account of Prokofiev’s Symphony No.7 with the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
