Roth and Les Siècles release Ligeti CD and open Cartagena Festival
Contrasting with the well-received release of their latest CD (Chamber works by Ligeti), François-Xavier Roth and Les Siècles open the International Cartagena Music Festival with the first of six concerts.
Under this year's festival theme, 'La vía francesa', they play five, typically eclectic, programmes of French music ranging from Rameau to Boulez, including works by Debussy, Ravel, Chabrier, Milhaud, Chausson, Fauré, Saint-Säens and Satie.
