Still in his 20s, Maayan Franco’s international profile is growing rapidly, combining opera, symphonic, musical theatre and contemporary music. Since 2025, he has been part of the conducting team at Vienna Volksoper, conducting Mozart and Rossini as well as Follies, Cabaret and The Sound of Music. Committed to new music, he was previously a Lucerne Festival Conducting Fellow and has assisted Ilan Volkov in new music projects, as well as collaborating with leading contemporary ensembles.
